Abstract
In this presentation I will offer an ecocritical reading of Perdas de Fogu (2008). Through the lens of environmental justice, this essay points out the disparities caused by unchecked capitalism and a neocolonial logic that creates a community of “redundant” human beings in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, in Sardinia.
