Presenter Biography
Marissa Hamilton received a BA in English at Indiana University and MA from University of Illinois Chicago. She grew up as a military kid, has a twin brother, and her parents have a farm in Southern Indiana. She currently lives in Chicago and her hobbies include writing at Starbucks, enjoying the Chicago parks, and painting. Her areas of study include Modernism; Harlem Renaissance; Poetry; Representations of inner contemplations, identity, and nature; Black Studies; Culture and music studies
