This session showcases nonfiction and fiction of both established and emerging writers. From flash fiction to auto-fiction and creative essays, we will engage with a wide range of literary topics and styles of prose.

Please submit a brief bio/description of the piece in the abstract spot and a selection from the fiction/nonfiction piece you’d like to read in the proposal spot. Then, please email me your full piece (less than 6,000 words, please). Should you be chosen, you will have approximately 8-15 minutes to read your piece. Any piece of prose is welcome, but we especially encourage works that relate to the conference theme, “Palimpsests: Memory and Oblivion."
