We invite researchers interested in
collectively thinking about, following, and analyzing how (im)migration
movements are represented and reflected upon in past or current cultural
products.
In a time when many are thinking about building walls, we invite researchers interested in thinking and talking about the journey of “(il)legal” (im)migrants to explore the reasons why people decide to leave their country of origin to build a new life in a foreign one and/or to examine the lives and processes of those already living in a new land without having papers bestowing upon them the status of “citizens.” We welcome papers that focus on cultural products both in Spanish and English.
