From dynamic shifts in Spanish across global communities to cutting-edge analyses of emerging linguistic phenomena in contemporary Hispanic societies, this panel showcases the vibrant frontiers of Hispanic linguistics. We invite innovative research that examines language change, variation, and evolution in diverse Spanish-speaking contexts, highlighting how social, cultural, and technological forces shape linguistic practices. Contributions exploring heritage speakers, bilingualism and interdisciplinary perspectives are especially encouraged. By bringing together scholars working at the intersection of theory and lived experience, this panel aims to spark dialogue, foster collaboration and illuminate new pathways for understanding the complexities and creativity of the field in the twenty-first century.
